Sources of support and information from outside the council

There are a number of national organisations that are there to provide advice, support and specialist services such as training and development.
The Welsh Local Government Association leads and supports the drive to improve the range and provision of member development support available to local authorities in Wales. The Member Development Strategy for Wales produced by the WLGA is supported by all the 22 unitary councils in Wales.
